PRP Therapy

Platelet-rich plasma (PRP) is prepared from a small sample of your own blood. Platelets contain growth factors involved in tissue repair, and concentrating them lets us deliver that healing signal exactly where it is needed.

How it works

We draw a small amount of blood, spin it in a centrifuge to separate and concentrate the platelets, then inject or apply the PRP to the target area — a joint, tendon, the scalp, or the skin. Because PRP is autologous (from you), the risk of allergic reaction is very low.

Mild soreness is common for a few days; most patients return to light activity right away.

Common questions

Does PRP hurt?

We use numbing and gentle technique. Most patients describe brief pressure or soreness rather than significant pain.

How long until I see PRP results?

Healing responses build over weeks. Many patients notice changes in four to eight weeks, with continued improvement over several months.

How many PRP treatments are recommended?

It depends on the area and goal. Joint protocols may involve one to three injections; hair and skin protocols are often a series of three to four.
